When I am on ships doing my cargo work bit - I see helicopter circles on the decks ... some winch only ... some full landing jobs ..........

So I decided to make my own model one for the garden ...

So scrap OSB sheet ... 1.2 x 1.2m square.

Marker pen, string and thumb-tack to mark circle ...

Bit of masking tape to keep H clear of base grey ...

Base grey painted and ready to do yellow circle / H ..

Yellow circle and H made ...

All done in matt emulsion - so quick drying ... should be able to use later today if it dosen't rain ...

Cool

Nice helipad solentlife,

You should defiantly get your Blue Peter badge. Wink

I would be proud to land my 450 on this. I am still waiting my transmitter, so your profile slogan applies to me.

Fancy! I just use a thick, flat piece of styrofoam. With my Blades though I usually just hand-launch them.

Sorry SkyKing51 I forgot about your Helipad with lights,

You can have a Blue Peter badge as well,

in fact anybody who has made their own helipad can have one.

Keith you can defiantly can have one. There you go.

this tree was made for this. Very nice.

Solentlife, your landing skills will dramatically improve as you strive for landing perfection.

Do we have we more potential candidates willing to share their Helipads with us, and be awarded the Blue Peter badge?

Don't need lights, I'm only VFR rated, I have enough trouble when I can see the Helicopter so don't need IFR and I wouldn't be able to see the instruments when the Tx backlight went out.
