Do these SkyKing helicopters do anything besides sit on a helipad?
I was wondering the same thing Mike, Well, I know Admiral can land on his, and that takes some damn nice skill there bro, alot tougher than landing on a board on the ground! But I also see a coupla helis sitting on the pads but no action.

OK ... honesty time >
I didn't video flying of the Heli-Pad because I didn't want to have good pad and crap flying in same vid !
Once I found that it actually improved my goal in flying ... making me want to land on the H ... I was going to video.
Unfortunately 2 days ago when I was flying again - a ball link snapped on my flybar link arm ... seriously - the threaded part sheered while I was happily hovering over the board showing SWMBO how good I now was with my 450 ... As you can imagine once that link parted ....... the 450 took on a life of it's own ......... ending up as a wreck about 10ft away from said board.
Luckily I had already ordered and received a complete new CNC Metal head ... based on my old one being worn out and slack on various joints. Trouble is the crash took out my last main blades ..........
So my 450 sits ready to go minus main blades.
As excuses - I think that about gives me 100% immunity from persecution ?

Thanks for the vote of confidence Trouble, I can land the Coaxials & MSR size on it OK but I've only had one sucsessful 450 landing and that was desperation make the landing or slam into it. I've done so many blades and feathering shafts I normally opt for the grass now a days.

Do you realise where we live Skyking?
Portugal, Latvia and England are not parts of the US states, are you offering to pay expences? Love to see it though, I've always wanted to see a 3 channel do a 'Constant Heading' 360º circle.
The sideways movement cannot be done without supernatural powers in control.

Tom you are hard to please,
This was my first attempt at converting the T-34 using the Blade CX2, frame was cut to fit. Yes technically this is a four channel.
But the first video is a three channel; the rotors tilt via a free moving swashplate no ailerons, so this is still a 3ch. Blade do not have to be fixed to qualify.
Obviously you are on to a winner with fixed rotor blades.
what are you going to do when make real coaxial helicopters?
and don't say no, because thier already planing this out.
the FAA the dangers of helicopter flight is the single rotor blades.
they say coaxial helicopters are more stable and safer to fly.
