Seems my helipad was lost in the forums' re-siteing . As it caused the odd titter, I thought I'd put it back:

When I get the landing lights fitted I'll show you the landing!

Well, I have to say Platinum, You live in a very beautiful place, I wish I had that for my backyard.
Here is a good vid of floats on a RC heli, very cheap and very good..apparently.
HERE
There are dozens of vids there to show you different types of floats, but..I myself would do exactly as this guy did. I mean it musta cost 3 whole dollars at the most for the noodle, lmao. But then again, I bet Wal-Mart is kinda far away from you huh? Drat.
hmmmm....

That looks like the part of Bangkok Thailand that runs along the Mississippi. See the water?

This morning photo.
My ruinous helipad.
Someone took the transparent plastic and "H" away.
The end!

you went a bit wrong there platinum, if you crash, its usually the heli, not the heli pad.

150 yds from my back door - I have wide deep river and with all the land - I have choice of dry / float flying fixed and heli ....
Once I get good on dry land - I reckon I will be trying floats ...
Here's view I have from bedroom balcony out back ....
and walking down to my private mooring canal ...
Needless to say I have 4 boats ... 2 motor, 1 river sailboat and 1 larger seagoing sailboat ... all sit in that canal happily !
