Do I remember reading that the mechanical trim on the mCX2 is pretty easy to adjust? Mine seems to have been assembled quite a bit out of trim -- it'll fly backwards probably twice as fast as it will fly forward! Roll seems a little off, too.
How would I adjust this? Are the servo linkages adjustable?
Thanks,
Earl |

hi Clovis Man
you can adjust the links. use the cyclic to find which link controls for and aft. you can gently prise the correct link off its ball and wind the the link in or out as needed. do be gentle though because it is possible to snap the ball off if you get too vicious with it. it might pay to count the turns in case you go the wrong way and you can return to the original position before another attempt. |

chopper, is there a way of correlating the number of turns made to the amount of pitch change? |

i dont think so Clovis Man
i had that problem with my first heli which was the original mcx and it was just trial and error for me.
but that was before i joined this forum and some one else here may know better. |

Hi Clovis Man,
It's like Chopper says you have do it by trial and error, but it is worth making some notes and then you will soon find out turns/degrees ratio. This is different for most helis and different link positions. i.e Swash links give different angles/turn to washout links. (When you get into collective pitch that is!)
