Who uses the little LED warning light boards on their Heli ?

I am thinking of buying and fitting not only on my 450 - but also on my fixed wing gear.

I have a friend with a Belt CP3 and it is surprising how often the red LED blinks when hitting the sticks ... it really shows the dip in voltage when servos start pulling power !

So who uses them and also do you recc'd them ?

For those inclined to say - use a timer - I have timer on my Tx and also a separate clip on timer ... so that's covered.

I use them and find them useful. There are many variations but the one I use is the three lights kind. I think they are much more accurate than flight timers and can easily be seen even in broad day light. Another plus is that they make the model look a tad bit cooler.

A lot of them will also come with audible alarm but most of the time you won't be able to hear it.
