I just bought the SRB Quark off of eBay and been enjoying it. The thing is, the transmitter that comes with it uses 8x AAA batteries and they run down pretty quickly. I'm thinking of getting a AAA battery charger from walmart since they are cheap. Anyone have any experience with these cheap walmart chargers? Just want to know if they can cause fire and things like that... |

Howdy newtype:
I have a Spektrum DX6I transmitter. I love it. It uses 4 AA batteries. I went to Radio Shack and got some rechargable ni-cads for the DX6I and a Charger for up to 8 batteries. It charges any size battery. D, C, AA, AAA and 9 volt. Was not much money either. Lets face it, all the chargers come from China anyway so what does it matter where you buy it.

Thank you pjdog I'll go out and get one (actually two since I need to charge eight). I just wanted to make sure they won't start a fire lol. |

I also have the SRB Quark.
The transmitter uses 8 AA batteries, not AAA. |
