shanefergo:

Sorry your having problems with your new toy. But I'm affraid you didn't really get a high quality helicopter. I would return it to the store you got if from and go to your local hobby shop and buy a E-Flight MCX helicopter. They E-flight is three or four times as much as your gs240 but the gs240 is really a toy and does not have the performace or quality of the E-Flight helicopters. E-Flight will last for years, Parts are available and the local hobby shop (LHS) will help you with it. Food for thought.

Good luck. Happy new year.

Jack

Hi shanefergo,

'Fraid Jack is right here, that heli is not built to last, metal or not. A hobby grade heli will have at least 4 channels and a good 2.4gHz transmitter/receiver. Also spares will be available for it, even if you have to shop on the net.

The spares situation is vital to flying, we all need them at some time so make that the first check. Are blades, shafts, batteries and motors available for it? If not find something that has these spares readily available.

Tom.
