I found that it's a real good idea to have a very good friend that knows what the hell he's doing so he can carry the ball for you. It worked for me. I got to kits completed.

You need the following from youtube .........
Finless Bob
MikeysRC
They have a series of build and set-up vids specifically on the 450 models as well as learning to fly.
There are other text and vids - but the above just about cover it ....
I know I shouldn't advise this - but there are Youtube Vid downloader utilities on web that then allow you to download the vids and save on your computer. You can even convert to PDA format to carry on your various Iphone / Ipad / other PDA etc. ...
This way you can refer back anytime without having the wait !
Sorry to hear of failure previously .... hopefully above can go a long way to sorting it this time ... I know it helped me a lot.
There is of course flyers on here that will help as well ...... a real friendly community .... |

Good answer solentlife
.
I would also add that if you go over to Helifreak's site, and go into Bob's tech room, there is probably every heli you can imagine there with build videos. |

You're really right, solentlife. After there are 450 models I checked.

hi blairg
i have a few heli's already but they are all rtf. so i bought a Trex 450 pro super combo kit. it was not cheap but the quality is amazing. everything you need to build it comes in the box. you will need to add your own tx, rx and battery to fly. after advice from the guys on this forum i have been following the bob finless build video's on helifreak and they are really easy to follow and very informative. you have the option to download them to your computer and watch them as you work and my advice is have a look at the video's and see what you think before spending your money and if they inspire confidence then go for it.
if you have a problem you can ask on here and get plenty of good advice. |
