Does any know why the charger that came with the cx2 package takes so long to charge the battery? 2-3 hours or more. And the video said about 1 hour. |

Does that charger come built in with a balancer? If it does then that could be the cause.
When you charge the battery, the cell balancing function will kick in when the one of the cells are reaching near full capacity. The charge rate could drop to as slow as .1A. This is a very good idea and great safety feature on these chargers. The problem is that if you have a battery pack where one of the cell is has a charge way below other cells, then the last cell will take a long time to charge.
There are some chargers out there that charges each cell with a separate professors, so each cell will keep on charging at full (but safe) rate no matter if one of the cells are already full. I'm sure which of the chargers out there has this function, but I "think" the DNPower has this function. |

Thanks, flightright. It does have built in balance capability. Time to invest in a better charger then. |

I had heard good things about the Cellpro 4S, 4 AMP Cell Balancing Charger and have ordered it. It is still on its way so I can not speak from experience, but I will when I can. |
